  • Start small. Work on one idea or a manageable part of a task.
  • Try remembering. Have a go before checking the source or feedback.

  • Return with a purpose. Check what you can remember after a break.
For parents and carers

Help them start. Give them room to practise.

What can we use today?

Interactive technique lessons and guided practice are free for ages 10–16. The Biology walkthrough for ages 13–16 is also available.

Invited families with pupils aged 13–16 can try one photo lesson for seven days without a card. Public photo registration and real payments are not open yet.

A few things to know before you start.

Do we need an account or a card?

No, not for the free technique lessons, Biology walkthrough, manual guided sessions or revision guides. Photo lessons use a parent-managed account. Check current availability.

Does it teach the subject or the revision method?

Its main purpose is to teach pupils how to revise. Photo lessons can explain uploaded material and ask questions about it. Keep the original source and teacher guidance available to check the content.

Will it work on our phone or tablet?

How2Revise runs in a web browser on phones, tablets and computers. There is no app to install. Use a current browser; camera and speech features depend on the device and its permissions.

Can AI get something wrong?

Yes. A photo may be unclear, and AI can miss or misinterpret information. Compare important details with the source. The free Biology example and manual guided route do not send schoolwork to AI. Read about AI and safety.
